In our most recent bargaining session we came with three new proposals, and management came with nothing. They didn't even bring any responses to our previous proposals. What will it take to get management to take Nurses seriously?

Our proposals

Out of ratio pay

A penalty fund to compensate nurses, and an additional incentive for management to staff safely. There's no cost to management if they simply follow the law.

Vaccinations

Allowing for medical, religious, and conscientious objector exemptions from certain required vaccinations.

Transport pay

A new pay scale for the independently-functioning and highly-specialized NICU transport nurses.

Management owes the Union bargaining team responses on:

  • Break relief
  • Safety (partially responded)
  • Respite period
  • Transport team insurance
  • Retirement (Roth 403b)
  • Compensation
  • Holidays
  • Floating differential
  • Standby pay
  • Certification pay
  • Tuition reimbursement

See a member of the Bargaining Team or Contract Action Team (CAT) to sign the petition to send a clear message to management. We demand a contract that protects patients and nurses, encourages staff recruitment and retention, and respects Nurses and the care we provide.
